“talkspirit allows people to express themselves, to participate and to collaborate in a common space of expression.”

The Caisse primaire d’Assurance Maladie Bas-Rhin

The Caisse primaire d’Assurance Maladie Bas-Rhin, managed by Sylvie Mansion, is a private organization with a total of 1000 employees. Under this name, three CPAMs are actually grouped together: La Caisse primaire in Haguenau, the one located in Strasbourg, and the one located in Sélestat, not to mention the various reception points, spread throughout the department of Bas-Rhin, i.e. 24 locations in total. Our mission? To ensure that all citizens have access to health care, and support them in preserving their health.

Before the installation of talkspirit, CPAM’s communication was subject to its very pyramidal structure: information was top-down, not cross-sectional, and very often centralised around the management. The lack of interactivity between services, management and departments is one of the major problems that the organization took into consideration when it decided to embark upon this project.

Benefits identified by the CPAM Bas-Rhin

More sharing, more exchanges

More than 90% of CPAM agents use talkspirit on a daily basis. The installation of enterprise social network has made it possible to break down communication barriers and improve the flow of information, especially for such a decentralised company, where rumors sometimes circulate faster than true information. The group system also allows agents to communicate much more simply together, by area of interest, and no longer just by departments. This is one of the key findings: talkspirit makes it easier for agents to know each of the CPAM’s services. In short: that brings friendliness!

More cross-functionality

This was one of the most recurrent requests in terms of communication within the structure:improving the cross-functionality of information. Thanks to chat, exchanges between colleagues are more free and independent. Information is less centralised around management, and exchanges are more spontaneous. Officers do not have to wait for a monthly service meeting in order to access the latest company news. Further, they also have the opportunity to react and comment on publications. They have become actors in the company’s communication.

Facilitates telecommuting

At CPAM Bas-Rhin, telecommuting or remote communication is not only an option, it is mandatory as a result of its decentralisation. Thanks to talkspirit, even people who work remotely can stay connected. When an agent is in the field conducting outdoor operations, sharing with colleagues is easier and faster! Whether it is photos or messages, agents are more involved in sharing, even remotely. talkspirit breaks down geographical boundaries and makes telecommuting easier!
